SCHOLAR: LANGUAGE AND LEARNING

Language has many influences in thinking.  Thinking is a process according to Blooms Taxonomy.  This process is as follows, knowledge, application of knowledge, comprehension, evaluation, analysis, and synthesis.  When in relation to language, I feel that the quicker one can speak the quicker these thinking processes in our mind can occur.  This is as such because the brain processes this information according to how it is comprehended.  Language and comprehension speed are thus closely linked.  For example Chinese speakers are very quick in their thinking compared to say French speakers.  This is because the Chinese language is spoken in a very quick manner and further the pronunciations are quicker.  When compared to the complicated French language that has masculine and feminine aspects, the Chinese language can be processed quicker in the mind.
The benefits of having a quicker to process language are many.  Critical actions that require quick decision making is the primary benefit that I can conceive.  It is these life or death decisions which require attention to detail.  The sort of detail that once can poses when speaking a slower language as French.  Those who have a slower language benefit because they can have more of a quality in their decisions.  They can weight in the pros and cons and have more integrity when choosing a specific course of action.
Although there are benefits to each type of language, we can see that those who excel in math are those that are quick.  Those who excel in  English are those whom speak slower.  I believe when you speak a slower language, you have more time to invest in what you are saying.  Further, you also have more time to feel emotions and invest in your feelings.  I feel that slower speaking people can take advantage of this by making arguments that have more integrity.  Nevertheless, having each type of speech style definitely has its benefits.
